The itinerary

8:00am : Meet and depart from our Operation Base/B&B in Sepilok.

10:00am : Arrive at Sungai Lokan jetty where you would take a short boat ride to Uncle Tan’s Wildlife Camp at Kinabatangan river.

10:30am : Get prepared, have  quick coffee/tea break. Proceed with the first activity, which is trekking in the the jungle area of the Wildlife Sanctuary. You will travel by boat to the trekking area about 15 minutes away. The trek would take about one and a half hours. 

12:00pm : Back to the Wildlife Camp for lunch.

2:00pm : After lunch, you may just want to relax at the Camp. As an option, if you want, the staff would take you on a short fishing trip. 

4:30pm : Back to Uncle Tan’s Wildlife Camp and tea break is served.

5:00pm : Have your cameras ready. It's time for the evening river ride along Kinabatangan/Lokan river. Plenty of wildlife can be seen during this hours of the day. The river cruise takes about one and half hours.

6:30pm : Arrive at the Lokan jetty and transfer back to our Operation Base in Sepilok.

8:30pm : Dinner at our ops base. End of trip.
